At Crofton Dental Care, we often see patients who are struggling with removable dentures or missing teeth and are looking for more stable long-term treatment options. In this case, Neil came to us unhappy with the appearance of their teeth and finding removable dentures difficult to manage. They were also presenting with a deep bite, which required careful planning across both arches.

Step 1: Consultation and Assessment
When Neil came in, we carried out a comprehensive assessment of both the upper and lower arches. They explained concerns about denture stability, function, and appearance, and were interested in exploring fixed options.
Following a detailed review, we discussed a personalised treatment plan involving a combination of implants and crown restorations to support function and address bite alignment. We made sure the patient understood each stage before moving forward.

Step 2: Implant-Supported Crowns and Final Restoration
Once the planning and treatment stages were completed, we restored the missing and damaged areas using a combination of implant-supported teeth and custom-made crowns.
At this stage, the focus was on fit, function, and bite alignment, particularly given the patient’s deep bite. Each restoration was carefully adjusted to support chewing function and overall stability across the upper and lower arches.
We worked closely with Royal Dental Lab in London to produce crowns designed to integrate with the planned implant positions and existing teeth structure.

The Outcome
Neil’s teeth were restored using a combination of implant-supported replacements and crown restorations, supporting overall function and appearance.
The final result provided a more stable alternative to removable dentures, with supporting bite alignment and restored areas of missing teeth. As with all cases, outcomes vary depending on individual clinical conditions and treatment requirements.
