At Crofton Dental Care, we see patients with concerns about loose teeth, existing restorations, and multiple missing teeth that may affect everyday activities such as eating and chewing.

In this case, the patient attended with concerns about loose upper teeth, an existing upper bridge that required assessment, multiple missing teeth, and difficulty wearing removable dentures comfortably.

Following a full clinical assessment, we discussed the available treatment options and developed a phased treatment approach. This included removal of teeth that were not suitable for restoration, placement of upper dental implants, a lower left implant-supported solution, and a prototype bridge stage to assess fit and function before the final restorations were completed.

Step 1: Consultation

The patient attended Crofton Dental Care with concerns about their upper teeth, including looseness, their existing upper bridge, and difficulty chewing.

During the consultation, we reviewed their oral health, discussed their concerns, and explored suitable treatment options. Following assessment, a personalised treatment plan was developed to address the upper arch and lower left missing teeth.

Step 2: Assessing Fit After Tooth Removal

As part of the treatment process, teeth that were not suitable for restoration were removed according to the planned approach.

Following this stage, the fit and function of the planned restoration were assessed to help guide the next stages of treatment.

Step 3: Creating the Upper Implant Bridge

The upper implant-supported bridge was designed and created as part of the full-arch restoration process.

The restoration was developed based on the patient’s individual treatment plan and in collaboration with the dental laboratory team.

Step 4: Upper Full Arch Implant Bridge and Lower Left Implant Bridge

The final treatment plan included a fixed upper implant bridge supported by six implants, along with a lower left implant-supported bridge supported by three implants.

These restorations were designed to replace missing teeth and form part of the patient’s planned tooth replacement treatment.
