At Crofton Dental Care, we sometimes see patients who are experiencing discomfort in their front teeth, which can affect daily functions such as eating, speaking, and smiling. In this case, the patient attended with concerns relating to their upper and lower front teeth, along with reduced confidence in their smile.

Following assessment, we discussed a structured treatment plan involving an All-on-6 approach for the lower arch, and an implant-supported bridge for the upper front region, using implant-supported restorations to support function and appearance.

Step 1: Consultation

When the patient came in, we carried out a full clinical assessment and reviewed their concerns, which included discomfort in the front teeth and difficulty with everyday functions.

After discussing all suitable options, a personalised treatment plan was developed involving an All-on-6 approach for the lower arch and an implant-supported bridge for the upper front region. We explained each stage so the patient understood the process before treatment began.

Step 2: Digital Planning and Implant Guide

In the next stage, we used a surgical guide to support accurate implant positioning as part of the planned workflow. This helps guide placement based on the digital treatment plan developed during the planning phase.

Once this stage was completed, the case was sent to Royal Dental Lab in London for fabrication of the implant-supported restorations.

As with all cases, treatment options and techniques are discussed individually during consultation, and suitability depends on each patient’s clinical situation.

Step 3: Implant Placement Procedure

The implant placement stage was carried out according to the planned guide-assisted workflow. This allows implants to be positioned in line with the planned treatment approach for the upper and lower front regions.

Each stage is completed with careful attention to clinical planning and patient comfort throughout the procedure.

Step 4: Final Restoration

Once healing and fabrication were complete, the final implant-supported bridges were fitted for the upper and lower front teeth.

This stage focused on fit, function, and bite alignment, supporting everyday activities such as eating and speaking.

The Outcome

The patient’s upper and lower front teeth were restored using implant-supported bridgework based on an All-on-6 treatment approach. This aimed to improve function in the treated areas and restored missing or compromised teeth with fixed restorations.

As with all dental treatments, outcomes vary depending on individual clinical factors and treatment needs.
