At Crofton Dental Care, we often see patients who are concerned about the condition and appearance of their upper teeth. In this case, Simon came to us with significant decay affecting the upper teeth, and was looking for a treatment option to restore function and appearance.

Step 1: Consultation – Simon’s Smile Journey Begins
When Simon came in, we carried out a full assessment and reviewed the condition of the upper teeth. The patient was unhappy with their appearance and wanted to understand what options were available.
After discussing the findings, we agreed on a personalised treatment plan to restore the upper arch using a combination of implants and crown restorations, based on the patient’s clinical needs and goals. We made sure everything was explained clearly so the patient felt comfortable moving forward.

Step 2: Planning and Preparing the Crowns
Following the initial stage of treatment, we worked with Royal Dental Lab in London to prepare custom-made crowns designed to support function and fit within Simon’s bite.
At this stage, the focus is on careful planning, including the shape, fit, and alignment of the crowns, to support a stable and comfortable result once fitted. Each step is checked to ensure the restoration aligns with the patient’s treatment plan.

Step 3: Fitting the Upper Crowns
Once ready, the crowns were fitted to the upper arch. We assessed fit, comfort, and bite alignment together with Simon to ensure everything was functioning as expected.
This stage completes the restorative process for the upper teeth, with attention given to both function and appearance.

The Outcome
Starting with upper teeth affected by decay and breakdown, Simon’s upper arch was restored using implant-supported crowns and custom-made restorations.
The treatment aimed to improve oral function and appearance, supporting the patient in returning to normal chewing and daily activities.

If you are considering upper dental crowns or implant-supported restorations, we can guide you through a personalised consultation to discuss your options.
